Mark, Your new gauges look great. I like the spun metal faces. They have a race car look without looking overdone. As far as indicator lights are concerned, I like turn signals, high beam, and possibly a check engine light and oil pressure light. Anyway good luck on your new product. Just wanted to let you know that we are building similar packages for Old Dog Street Rods, these look similar to what you posted, and can be made in any color. I think they are way below the competition. Mark --
I need new gauge set up for the 56 Nomad - but your speedo is a bit on the LOW side... How 'bout kickin' it up a notch to like 160 MPH?? Was just shopping Dakota Digital -- their new VTX line is looking mighty sharp... Quote:

Hi guys
the 55-56 clusters are sold through Old Dog Street Rods, we cannot sell them direct. I'd like to take a shot at building one with a tach As for an update on the 3-1 gauges, we have the design and programming complete! We are having issues with some of the tool shops and parts suppliers suddenly wanting to change their quotes to about 3X what they were 60 days ago (quotes good for 90 days). So, now we are dealing with that, hopefully this will be worked out in a few days or we will find a new suppliers for these components, which delays things. We will have stand-alone units as well as bolt-in packages for 67-68 camaro and a 69 Camaro package. Mark |
Hey Mark,
I'm looking at your website and am curious when the redline series will be available? I don't need them yet, but am curious and also what sort of LED color options will be available? I was originally going to do Dakota Digital and have recently been very interested in the Autometer Nexus series. I just noticed the Redline's for the first time and I like the idea of being able to customize the gauge and face. Will |

It sounds like you need something custom, let us know what you need, a custom set runs $700-$900 depending on the time it takes to design the dials and how many colors are on them, Still less expensive than the competition's off the shelf product! I think those Nexus sets run about $1200.00 Why not get a custom set the way you want for less? Dont go digital! Mark |
Thanks for the info Mark. I definitely want to do something custom, I'm just not sure what I want it to look like yet. I know the simple things having blinker, bright, & e-brake indicators in the tach & speedo. Just not sure of the dial. I'll have to think about that a bit. I want a full sweep gauge and really like the look of the Redline's, though the 2020's have a more simple look and may take better to a custom dial. I'll need to spend some time studying my render to see what would complement it well as a gauge dial.

OK
Finally! The processors showed up yesterday and we will begin building them in a couple of weeks. Pricing will range from $499-$550 depending on the level of gauge and mounting solution. It took way longer than we wanted, but we are finally able to start production. Will have updates in the next week or so with the launch date and exact pricing. These will be avaialble in the 67-68 style shown, our 69, Redline, Woodward and 67 series. Another great feature is we also have matching ancillary gauges (EGT, A/F ratio, Boost, oil temp, N2o press, trans temp, etc) that match the 3-1s, so you can add-on, maintain the look and save space in the dash. As always, made in Detroit and with our 5-year warranty! Mark |
