Sorry for a quick thread jack. Can we talk some time about your Imagine Injection? A friend just bought a truck project off of us and wants to put an 8 Stack on a Big Block. Looks like maybe the wheels will be 20's in back and 17's up front. Still working on that. I like that combo - now have to find an appropriate tire. I don't like these cars with skinny sidewalls... that just isn't "right". And we've agreed on capped LAKESTER style headers with out the back exhaust.

I think the Imagine Injection I have on the Nomad is too contemporary - even though the owner is a buddy - so I'm thinking of the Inglese 8 stack or a Hilborn. I like the looks of the Inglese unit and the common plenum for vacuum (PCV) is a big plus.

I was already told "NO" on the console having a spot for my coffee cup (which never leaves my hand)... I was told I could just buy a bean bag version from Wal-Mart. :rofl: I like Steve's style! He's not afraid to tell a customer "NO"! :woot:

stay away from the hilborn set-up go with the Inglese set up .they use a comon plenum under the base to equal the runner volume .

x2 on the Inglese set up. We are running one on a BBC for our Shop Bitch project. Nice stuff !

Thanks guys... but you're preaching to the choir -- I already run one of my cars with an Inglese intake (using Imagine Injection TB's).... and I totally "get" the plenum. I took my polished weber intake off (that used lines to a small common plenum for the MAP sensor) -- as soon as I could get my hands on the Inglese unit.

I would never use the Hilborn unit -- that was just Steve's description when I said "I'll run an 8 stack injection unit".

The problem with the BBC --- is that they have not cast up a new intake with the large common plenum yet.... I hope that is in their plans! It really makes it nice to have lots of vacuum for PCV or power brakes etc.

I'm trying to talk one of my buddies into pulling off his intake and modifying the valley area to make a plenum like the SBC intake. We talked to Inglese about them making one.

True.... we are using the IDA manifold for mock-up but have a one off in the works. Not from Inglese but our machinist. He seems to have the concept and flow numbers down but getting him to actually make time for cut it is another story.... :lol:
