Thanks guys! Yeah, this thing has come a long ways. Still quite a bit to do before spring. :willy:

Good idea Greg! I've got some silly putty around here somewhere that I'll try.

Todd, when I started working under the hood cleaning things up I checked out payback more than a few times. It's kind of funny, when our first turd of a motor died I wanted to look into doing an LS swap. Beth said "that's just not right". I'm glad we went the way we did. If it's a dinosour then I think it's a T-frickn-Rex! :unibrow:

It looks nice under there. I'm worried about the height of me air cleaner.

Love the engine bay. Looks great and good job with the set-up!

Thanks Wayne!

I'll measure the height of my setup next time I'm in the shop for you to referance against yours.

When it was in the shop getting the rear repainted we had the shop trim the radius around the air cleaner under the hood. Our air cleaner had also clipped that radius with the old setup. Part of the hood inner structure had been hacked up by the previous owner so I didn't feel bad about doing a bit more.

I started playing with the wiring last night. I set it up on a table so I could wrap my head around how it all fits together. After plugging things in it started looking less complicated.

Hey Wayne,
I measured up our setup tonight. It's approx 8 3/8" from front lip of intake to top of throttle body. With the air cleaner on it's a hair shy of 11". The air cleaner has 1 1/4" drop base which barely hovers over the rails. We'll see if there's enough air flow this spring.

No real progress to show for the weekend. I've mostly been gathering parts for the fuel system. I'm also scratching my head on where/how to mount the ecm and route the harness. I'd like to keep things clean looking.

Made a couple aluminum brackets yesterday. Slso started cleaning up some of the wiring and hoses in the engine bay and under the dash. I think I found a good spot to mount the ECM under dash. Hopefully will get to that part soon.

You've got some cool things that are being changed on the car and I'm liking the transformation. Good stuff.
