I really like seeing these out-of-the-norm builds, very creative stuff again!

What's the story on the mid year vette lurking in the background?

What plastic is that dye made from? Delrin or something harder?

This was made out of Delrin since it will only be used for 1 or 2 panels.

What's the story with the twin turbo camaro drag car???? :unibrow:

The Camaro is our Mechanic's project. He has is down at the shop to finish up the sheet metal work and plumbing on the turbo. It will be a 10.5" radial tire car with a 632 BBC making around 3,000 hp.

It is definitely fun getting to work on a unique ride like this and make something cool out of it.

The vette is a 67 that just came in for a full turn key build. It will be used to debut our new C2 Corvette chassis. This one is getting the IFS/IRS combo with a LS7/T-56. We haven't gotten too far into the details yet. There are a lot of real unique ideas being kicked around, just have to see if the owner will let us go after them! He is leaning towards a more original looking car, but like I said, discussions have just begun on the design. We just started on the car this week and got it disassembled and ready to be blasted. I'll start a build thread once it starts progressing.

Keep me in the loop. I'm thinking about swapping a modern chassis under my 65 coupe as my next winter project.

Will do. Once the car is back from being blasted it should be about 4-6 weeks for the design and fixturing process. Once that is completed we will begin marketing the chassis as a production model with a lead time of 4-6 weeks from deposit until delivery.

Random observation, I only seen one craftsman tool box in all of your different

threads that Ive seen. Is it mandatory for your techs to have snap on ???? lol
