Next step was to pull the engine and clean up the engine bay.

Sometime in the cars life the passenger side front apron had been hit so it is all bent and mangled so I am going to replace this metal along with the radiator support. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...psd3ff4e71.jpg http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...ps52f0a390.jpg You can see the shock tower has a big dent in it as well so that will be replaced at the same time. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9fa9c371.jpg http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...psebd36da2.jpg Front apron removed. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/...ps0ce81ed4.jpg |
Got the rest of the apron and shock tower out.

I was going for a retro trans am car look and must say I am more than satisfied with how it turned out.

yeah looks good ! Great result for home brewed work. You must have some experience with this stuff though. The rear flares came out especially nice, I wish you had shown a picture of it being bondoed. Maybe I don't have much experience with the stuff but it sure seems like you'd have to feather it out a long ways to cover up the 1/8" thick flare flange.

I think you nailed the look. Good job!
