I just saw a BMW X5 with NOMARO3 on their license plate.

Glad it's still being built even if slowly. Will you dyno the engine at some point? If so, will you share the results? Thanks, Ed.

Hey guys, just an update on the NOMARO.
I took it over to the painter a few weeks ago. He is going to put the doors and rear quarters on and get it painted. I figure I can get all the suspension items ready for it and the engine and tranny so i can just pull the sub frame and put all of it together and slide it back under with all the drive train installed.

Drew Brothers Custom in Chandler AZ will be doing the Doors, Quarters and the Rear bumper along with painting it the blue you see in the rendition. I am going to put the "NOMARO" script in the Yenko stripe.

I will have Rob Drew add pictures as he move along on this.
Thanks for following.

Hey i'm loving this project, but i can't see the pictures in the first post, can you upload them again? Please!
Also can't wait to see the rest of the restoration process, it will be very interesting to see how they fit the door panels over the nova ones an everithing else..

Awesome to hear about progress. I've got two Novas and am not as big a fan of Camaros, but when I first saw this rendering I thought it was gutsy but cool. Lol, I wonder what a 4 door version would look like, I might just have to draw that myself... :lostmarbles:

You all probably know the Speed Tech Nova. I think this whole transformation can look ultra clean and cool. Speaking of suspension, what's the game plan there?

NOMARO Project.
Well the car is making progress and Rob says he will be sending over pictures soon.
Some of the early pictures on this post were gone so I added them back.
I will be up dating soon.
Enjoy.

The anticipation is like watching the guy at the carnival make your fresh cotton candy. Looking forward to pics!

Well the start of cutting this car up and adding the Camaro doors and Quarters has started. I figured we would need to change the Outer Inner rear wheel tub as the Nova is much lower than the Camaro and the Camaro is a lot wider in the rear.

Here is the difference in the Quarter length.

Here is a good look at the outer wheel tub on the Nova in relation to the Camaro one.

Now the Camaro outer is installed to see how the side will look and to figure out how much needs to be cut.

As you can see the outer tub sticks out from the body but this is what we need to get the Camaro Quarter to sit right.

So now there is no turning back as this project is moving forward and we will keep updating and get this done soon.
Enjoy the shots.
