I'm not sure I really see why you would start with a 20k painted restored car. Your going to have to mod the body to really get it to do anything. A really nice shell with a cheap paint job later on makes more sense both cost and warrior wise.

But if your buying a painted car I would want and older paint job so the sins that lie beneath the surface will have made their way to the top in a bubble or crack already.

MA car was too clean. Last thing I want to hear again is "Gaetano, this is pro-touring not pro-racing" :rofl:

If I was to do a car like this I would consider not paying for a painted one and get a wrap done. Rodger's post makes sense.

I don't want to lose all resale as I will sell it. :unibrow: It will still have a plate and I'll drive it on the street so I don't want a full race car. I'm really just shooting for a more race oriented pro touring car like Brians, just not on that level. I'd like to be able to reuse some things. I don't plan to minitub the car or do any extensive fabrication. After building my last car, I have a better idea of what I want.

Nothing fancy becasue I'm going to beat the living crap out of it, but nice. :lol:
