man i love all the high ends builds going on lately.
Your car is going to be amazing. Please post tons of pics - your build a car i've alway's wanted to build. So i'm going to watch this thread like a hawk. |
Car is looking good! Keep the pictures coming! Be sure to share your project over at Steve's Nova Site Good group of Nova fans there.
BTW, I'm not sure what wheel size you came up with, but I think 17" front and 18" rears are the perfect combo for Chevy IIs. Anything else doesn't look right... Keep it up! |
Marty - Coming from someone that has one of the most insane truck builds I've ever seen that is a HUGE compliment! Man, I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the words of encouragement that you all have been giving me!
Cadpro - I posted at stevesnovasite under "Show and Shine"/Did I make the right decision? 17/35/255 front and 18/30/335 rear is the final. *****Edit***** Rear may change to 295 or 305! Thanks to all that have posted words of encouragement and advice! Hearing a different point of view, good or bad, helps me in seeing things that I may have not seen or thought of which, in the end, will make the build just that much better! :hail: Thanks Again Guys(and Gal!) What can I say. I just love these Novas!
Looking Great Man. |
You need motivation on these builds. Plain and simple, it's hard ass work! When you get to touch base with someone on the site it seems to keep you focused
and energizied. Plus in your case, you are going ball_ out. :wow: R.P. |

Keep it up... Chad |
Good Idea!

Are you putting a cage in this thing?
|
Well .....so far the plan is to do so but we're trying to see how we can do it so it is undetecable. Main problem, obviously, is the main hoop. Can't seem to get around that! Also the crossbar on the main hoop. I want to retain the rear seating but with a crossbar it would be too dangerous for the rear passengers so we're trying to figure out what we are going to do. I definitely want to try and run the a-pillar downbars through the actual a-pillars, if possible, through the cowl and firewall and tie it to the front subframe and the C-pillar downbars down the inside of the C-pillar and tie it to the rear subframe. Either 6 or 8 point probably!
