He doesn't work with West Coast anymore. He's back with Chris Coddington doing another rebirth of their wheel line. I saw all of them at Pleasanton GG and spoke with Chris about his new launch. Once Duane turned the corner and started spouting his BS in the booth, I just walked off mid sentence. Life is way too short to have to listen to such a moron.

I'll be putting on a "Duane the douche bag" clothing line. I thought it was an act for the show. Nope. Saw him at SEMA talking with a bunch of fans, half of them walked away too. |
caught that new show based around "da rod shop" i think.guy seems more like a hollywood poser with made for tv problems that have no real basis, just made up drama.might make it a season

Yea I remember seeing that guy Billy Derian From Rods and Wheels on DIY Network's Extra Yardage doing landscape projects.

1 - Top Gear (the UK version via bit torrent so I get the whole show not the edited down BBC-US version)
2 - /Drive on YouTube (except for the detailing guy...dull) 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 - Everything else |
I gotta say, I don't understand all the hatred for the Gas Monkey Guys. I'm not going to take my cars to them for a nut and bolt restoration, but they're flippers. They get it running and make a little profit. Break out an Auto Trader Classics and you'll find 50 shops just like theirs selling mild refurbishes for regular guys looking for an old car. I just like the fact that their show doesn't focus on how they're all a!@#oles to each other. They seem to have a good time cobbling together these cars, and to me that's good entertainment. If I want real car shows, Freiburger and Finnegan are my go to guys. Roadkill is the best thing that happened to the internet. My two pennies.
