Soooo, this happened also. Sitting at a bar and a friend of a friend mentioned getting rid of his Mini. Out of curiosity, I asked about it. He's owned it since new and was tired of it and just wanted it to go away. I should have poured another drink and just enjoyed the evening...I didn't.
The wife's ok with it, my mom wants it and I'm already signed up for an SCCA Track Night...

Just couldn't pass up a supercharged, 6spd for less than a weeks salary. :happy23:

Dude freaking awesome...sorry i'm overly excited about the Mini.. I've driven them a couple of times and always got out smiling. It felt like I was driving a big go kart and should be illegal with the amount of fun I had in it.

That's exactly how I described it to the wife, a go kart with plates...she still thinks I'm a bit of a ra-tard though. It'll be a fun track/practice car to beat on and I'll be able to teach the oldest boy and wife how to drive a stick. I've also got a driving class coming up and than a track day scheduled later this month....how's it go? Yeeeeehaaaaw!
