I have always thought this as a stupid argument. Who really cares? I have never looked at a cool car and wondered if the guy built it or bought it. I just think, good for him for having a bad ass car.

Anyhow. I’ve been here for a while, since 2010 dropping in and out but not posting as much. I have a 67 & a 69 Camaro/both unfinished. I’ve been stuck in AZ/Scottsdale for the last 6 years. Finally moving back to Orange County soon where my family, friends and Cars are at. I race Spec racer fords in SCCA. I keeping my car in TX for the 2016 season to race with friends. It’s been a while since I ran a PT event. Since RTTC II when we ran the shop 67 Camaro. That article was divisive and full of girl purse swinging drama. (I should know I have two daughters). I can’t recall any of that going on back a couple of years ago. I hope it’s not going on now.

So you built your car. Sweet. So you bought your car. Awesome! All I care about is if you can drive the damn thing because I know a couple of Spec Miatas who will give you a run for your money. LOL!:RunninDog:

I think the arguement is passing of a bought car as a car you actually built. Nothing bothers me more than someone taking credit for someone elses creativity and skill. i built my car and have a very high respect for those who do and dont like those who pretend they do .
