Hi Tim any word on how they (CHE) are holding up? I just got a set for mine.

So far so good, the updated slip-fit design is even better imho. Fwiw we just took an engine up to 8,900 rpm on the dyno with them and they were fine.

Wow 8900 that must have sounded sweet. That's what I loved about my 69 z/28 shifting at 8500, I love to hear them sing!

Slip-fit? I didn't see it listed on straub's website.

The Straub bushings have to be pressed in. The CHE bushings are slip fit.

We did my rockers yesterday with the CHE trunnion kit.
It took no time at all to do the trunnion swap.

Is it worth doing the CHE kit on a new GM crate LS3 525?

If you plan to spend a lot of time at high rpm, I highly recommend it. The offset rocker arms also have an extra amount of taper to the tip. The trued tip is worthwhile investment, I think. Saves the guides. And if it has the hollow valves, I've heard reports that it also keep the valves from dropping.. but I can't verify that from our own engine program.
