Looks awesome, Lenny. I was thinking along the same lines as Dave. You could have a sprinkler system. They are required on all new construction here in Henderson. Also, I wonder what can be done for fumes?

We did the I-joists beneath our second floor with glued/screwed decking. Feels nice and rigid but we still have popping/squeaking despite our efforts.

Thanks, thought about sprinkler system but already outside my budget, have to draw the line somewhere. Trying to retire next year...I'll just carry big insurance:lol:

Trying to enjoy but your know.....and yes I hate squeak and pops, hoping for the best. Tried to get dried in before the rain but not working out the way I wanted, oh well, time for rain coats.

That is going to be one sick shop Lenie

that has to be one of the best perks of being a contractor, building an awesome house the way you want it.

This was the best part for us... a house sprang up practically overnight during the framing stage.

Wow! That looks great! Looks like you were really able to take full advantage of the way the lot laid out. I can only imagine how wore out you are of the project, hopefully you can relax and stat to enjoy the fruits of your labor soon...
