Holley doesn't currently offer a crossmember for the 8 speed auto or I would have used that and made it easy. I kept the crossmember tucked inboard as much as possible to make extra room to run a larger resonator to try and cut down noise as much as possible.
Rear suspension is all DSE we just cleaned things up and blended some here and there, there was a little additional work done to the outer wheel houses and the rear lower quarter was brought outboard slightly so the shape from front to rear of the car has a nicer curvature and doesn't dive inboard so hard in the back. The car will end up with a 325 or 335 rear tire |

Thought I'd never see an update on your 67, it's been years since you mentioned this car, nice to see progress and great work of course by Sled Alley!!!

With the way your figuring the car with 325 on the back how much ground clearance will you have to the transmission pan?

Am concerned about the weight of the trans levering on the single thickness floorpan. Flex in the trans mount provides no rotational stability to those tabs/bolts. Am aware of the doubler above the floor but the point load on the single skin is too much. A nice fabrication but looks weird. I HOPE I'M WRONG :peepwall: |
