I work as an elf for the Santa in the South Pole making toys! Well, actually I work in the product development group at GMP Diecast as a designer. I work with a great group of people developing and producing some of the highest quality diecast on the planet! Atleast that's how I feel! :-) We produce a lot of vintage racing and muscle car stuff including G-Machines!
I have an Industrial Design degree and many of my courses were geared heavily on automotive design from concept to prototype modeling. I miss school.

My next job (someday) will be designing and building custom cars and even one-off show cars.

I am a Sales Process Manager for Mazda USA. That means I fix broken dealerships (sales departments). If you have ever bought a new car than you know what I am up against. Someday I'll design/create/manufacturer some great part that will revolutionize the classic car industry and I'll get to buy whatever I want. Until then, I have to work for the man.

I toil non stop at a job that pays equally proportionate to the numerous factors beyond my control that determine outcomes beyond my control, all the while having three offspring asking for "more gruuel sir" non stop night and day. I sell money to finance shopping malls, strip malls and other large developments that require a million dollars plus to build or finance.

Other than that I just buy Car parts.

Bum! I retired almost three years ago at 44 and have not gone and looked for a job since. At least "retired" is what my wife tells everybody. As long as "she" says I'm retired to everyone I'm in good shape. It's when "she" starts telling everyone I'm unemployed that I have a problem!!!!

Now I take care of my 4 and 9 year old girls while Momma runs her business. I get the do the school bit, soccer, dance, girl scouts and all! I also still get to play with a few cars every now and then!

I am an importer.

I import various wood products for the building industry from China,Russia, South America, Latvia, Lithuania.....etc. Pretty much my own boss and work from a home office. The wood market is rather like the stock market so I can get pinched when market drops and I am holding inventory. Wood market has been dropping for about a year now so haven't been able to spend as much money on the camaro as I would like!
