I think of MotiV8r when I look at the rendering. The work is outstanding but the colors looks a little bland to me. I guess I just have to wait and see the finished product and hope it wows me.

Here is what we have been up to so far on the radiator support to bumper fill panel... Got a few more pcs being designed & machined for this portion of the project... The goal is make it where we can diassemble it when we need to service something in front of the car!

UHHH that nose is killer! I would love to have one of those aluminum core supports to how much weight do shave off with the core supports ?
|
Love the nose detail
|
I'm glad my keyboard is waterproof because I just drooled all over it
|

Any update? Best looking nose I have ever seen.
|
Here is a small update... We have the fab work pretty much completed on the radiator to bumper filler panel... We still have a few pcs in design to machine but we are close.. Notice that we have a billet spring plunger in the center instead of just a spring... All the work kind of matches the bumper to hood beak..
http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_2405.jpg We also started doing the back seat in the car to get a feel of what we need to do to match the console.. I think we will have to alter a few things.. JCG now has an in house interior guy.. That means my builds have to no longer go out for sub-contract work... http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_2406.jpg |
Outstanding! :hail: I really like the the nose and close out panel work. I can't wait to see the next updates!
|
Great work, as always, Cris! Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Cris just went through the whole thread again. Love what you've done with this one
Do you have any more pictures of the rear rails? What did you use to move them in rectangular tubing or are they fabed together? I'm going todo the same with my rear rails and looking for other ideas on how to do it. Thanks and keep the pictures coming. Also did you ever come up with making some more of the firewalls for the first gens??? |
I will see what I have on the pic side for you Rick... They are fab'ed up frame rails....
Firewalls are @ a stop right now... but will say they are looking @ stamping them for me right now.. Quote:
