Thanks! I've thought of machining some for our projects, but for what it is they'd be very time consuming. I found on Model A's theres a radiator strut rod bracket that bolts to the firewall with a stainless screw that looks like a rivet, but it's limited to the 10/32 size and you have to buy the complete bracket to get two of them!

Incredible work!

None with full lock and compression on the springs there is still 3/4 inch of clearance. The wheels on the car are not the wheels we will use were having them designed at the moment, so the final fitment will be better again.

Sick! Love this build. Keep up the great work.

Heres a few from last week, final bare metal tweeks ,door gaps etc, still got to redo the outer ends of the rear bumper to blend with the quarter better, and I decided i wasnt happy with the hood,it wasnt a good one to start with,so back to the drawing board on that.

One of my favorite mopars and this has to be one of the nicest builds of one

DBL NKL 12-08-2011 03:17 PM

That there's a down right wicked build Shane. You guys really are producing some beautiful work and I am envious of that car! My first car was a 68 Coronet and all I did was melt the tires off it week by week. Love the Alien intake in there as it really suits the build. :hail:

Way nice!

tones2SS 12-08-2011 05:09 PM

Man, that thing is going to be one mean machine.

Awesome work! I'd imaging your not refering to the inner structure because I love that metal work. Is it the outer skin your referring too?

waynieZ 12-08-2011 08:45 PM

The car looks awesome Shane. Thanks for posting.

Actually both,The inner looks too "busy" to me and the outer, well thats another story.
This is actually a hard car to build,in the fact of not trying to over power it with too much fabrication but keep it simple (well, as simple as a 1600 HP car could be anyway).
Shane.
