Just re-read your post

I though you were speaking of pedal ratio not the stroke of the master. Sorry for the useless info. LOL

That is what I get for doing 2 things at once.

I like your use of recycled garden shed tools to make hot rod parts. Might be a market for stuff like that. Seems unfair you have such talent.

See what I did there?

Tyler

I can see pefectly. I do have a shed full of tools. Wait till you see what I make my exhaust out of.

Tyler, I got the master from you and it is for a T56. I'll run some adjustable stops on it. Have you heard of any problems with these Mcleod's.

Well Sorry my wife hired him as a handyman around the house months ago, Plus he has all the tools he needs on his belt.

Cris@JCG 05-27-2010 05:09 PM

I needed a gardner.. but you can see what he does with those tools.. They end up welded on his car! He wanted to build bead roller out of the garden hoe handles!!

I said Handyman not Gardner. There is huge difference.

But he is also pretty handy around the Boutique also.

Both you and Cris would underpay him. He's better off coming up here by me and running the "show" Then he could hang back in Cali in the winter months on his funds from the spring/summer. I got you covered Jason... and your wife has some great items so keep that Boutique going strong.
BTW- WAR is looking outstanding :hail:

Well, after 4 years I finally got to sit in my car. Had to take out the stock seat pans which was the last bit of stock floor left. Guess I didn't have to but I thought they were still high in the car.

Here's a pic of the new floor.

DFRESH 09-11-2010 11:47 PM

Yeah, but come on Jason, I mean really--how are the gaps bro. That's all we care about.

This is me introducing myself to you at Pleasanton show "My name is Doug, how are you?".

This is you responding "Before I answer that, is this the Gap Camaro?"

You know, coming from you, that hurts man.

Thus the rise of the "Ironworks Panel Gap Spray" was invented at the autocross shortly thereafter.

Car looks great man---keep pics coming.

Doug

DOOM 09-12-2010 05:55 AM

WOW!!! Thats all I can say!!!:hail:

War 09-12-2010 06:20 AM

Wait......I cannot believe D Renner, The Gran Master Funk DFRESH has posted on my thread. This is truly a great honor. Sure working with top panty models all day is great, but this.....this, I don't know what to say.

I am very sorry about that day in Pleasanton. With all the people in lawn chairs lined up to see you I thought you were Mr. Renners roady. (I was expecting someone much shorter)

And yes, I must admit I don't use panel gap spray that often, but when I do I prefer Ironworks Panel Gap Spray.

Stay thirsty my friends.

coolwelder62 09-12-2010 07:20 AM

Rodger you are not supose to use the word (jig) it's fixture.I guess I have afined someone using that phrase. Any way this car is awesome.I think is illegal to paint and carpet something this nice.I agree just leave this thing bare so the whole world has a goal to shoot for. This car should be left the way it is,and you should start another project if you want something with paint & carpet.

I'm glad a read a few more posts before posting. I was going to say the exact same thing and it would have been a double post. LOL!! I must admit, sometimes I just post on some threads without reading all the way thru. But, this car is such a thing of beauty I'm scared I will miss something if I stop reading. That floor belongs in a museum somewhere. Not covered with carpet.

srh3trinity 09-12-2010 11:20 AM

As uncomfortable and loud as a car without carpet would be, the trade off for being able to look at that fantastic fab work every time you drive the car may be worth it.

War 09-12-2010 12:17 PM

Thanks for all the compliments, I appreciate it, but it will definitely all get covered up.
A few of the little things that were made on the self. Still have more to go.
