Great looking work on that Tri-5

If you don't mind my asking. Where did you source the switches in the center console from ? That interior is simply ridiculous by the way. The dark grey and brushed aluminum look perfect together.

Never worry about asking questions I will help as much as i can. It is a Dark green..Mystic is the name.... Thanks Mark for posting the link, He beat Greg to it. They both know I'm not the best at posting links. Your pretty damn good yourself at fiberglass work !!! I like those switches alot,There small,They work good, and you can get them engraved with alot of logo's. Jared at Rad Rides has a line of switches coming out soon that I have seen that are going to be the sh*t.

any time frame? im looking in the next month or so. i had planned on the watson street works stuff.

rjsjea 01-24-2011 08:45 PM

How many hours to build a center console like that (not including wiring all those switches)? Is it MDF, glass or metal? Where do you source the hinges for the storage compartment?

I want a center console built, just not sure on what material (MDF,fiberglass or metal) to start with.

Contact Bowler Transmission talk to Mark, There going to be a main distributer, They have been working with Jarod on them. As soon as they go to full production I will be using and selling them also

RECOVERY ROOM 01-25-2011 07:52 AM

It was made out of fiberglass after using pour foam, Then aluminum is used to give it a internal structure. You could do something similar with MDF and coat it with resin to seal it up. We keep time on the whole interior on a day to day basis.

Mark only beat me to it (posting a link) 'cause I'm on the road... Still in Scottsdale after BJ auction and then headed to LA for Grand National Roadster Show... then to Ironworks to chop down a giant... then to Charleys to see if he'll let me sit in all of his stuff... then maybe try to buy Jody dinner... then... oh who knows?

EEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Tracy -- Can't remember the spam thing.... something that I might have reported as a spammer to Scott... and mentioned in the thread. So no reason to have the 'mention' after Scott fixedededededed it.

Tracy,

I was up at the Tri-City Street Rods show last weekend in Grand Island and got to see the finished product up close. You did a fantastic job! I'm always impressed by the placement and integration of all the switches, dials, etc.

Keep up the good work.

Sieg! Have you ever met this man? Really! Really?

Don't give him any kudos! It goes right to his head... next thing you know
he'll be thinking he has a whole cadre of friends and fans that idol his work. Then he'll go all Sarah Palin on us and think everything he has to say is somehow "newsworthy".

Dang newbs... anyhow.
