I'm back...... ! No updates ... This is the last week of our shop vacation month..:willy: All my guys take turns this month taking there vacations.90 hours last week, and I'm on the same pace this week ! I'll be back on the Camaro this weekend. The outer rockers are fitted and ready to weld..

Finally welded the outter rockers on!!! Things have been crazy at my shop since being back from vacation. I started fitting the inner rockers so these will be done this weekend.

You got your hands full with this one Mario. From looking at your original photos it looks like the typical midwest seasons got the best of it.

Hands full....... Alot more than that...:lol: Yea the car was originally from Ohio and some how found its way to Chicago. So it never had a chance. Hawaii is just awsome but trust me CARS were the last thing from my mind..:D

Looking good Mario. What did you end up doing for sheet metal?? I just got a new rear body panel from D and R and although it is much better fitting than the last one I used it is still over 3/4 of an inch wider than may org one :willy:

I did use DnR for pretty much all my sheet metal. But they will never get one penny from me again!!:mad:A little issue that really pissed me off. I'll tell you about it when I see ya. I have to talk to you about this tail pan issue when I get there. What pan did you order from them they offer a couple of diffrent ones???

Rockers are finally done:willy: The upper cowl and firewall are fitted and ready to weld, just have to do some minor repair work on a piece I cut off that I should of stayed with the original cowl section.It's starting to some what look like a car again!! Off to SEMA back on it this weekend..

I received a interesting call late last night. Someone from our forum recommended my project for this persons product... The gentileman asked alot of questions,but would not tell me who this person was:question:A very interesting call. I thought it was one of my friends messing with me. So I did some checking this morning and the offer is ligit.. Unfortunitly I might not be able to take him up on his offer.This is a startup deal for these guys so I was asked to keep the company name under raps.. I would like to thank this person for doing this for me but I don't know who he is. All I know is this person is from this forum.... PM ME!! WHO EVER YOU ARE!!!!!

Well I was PUNKED!!!! Some people will go through great lenghts to bust my chops!! A couple of my friends,and I use that term losely:D found this service on the internet that when you call it you can have any name you want show up on your caller id!! I gotta tell ya they had me going. These two have no intrest in cars they are actually my neighbors,and lets just say they got a little help from my wife!!! You know what they say about payback!!:D

The floors in !!!!:willy: Not welded in yet, I have it set in so I can make sure the sub frame mounts are in the correct location. I have a couple of issues I have to tend to, the right side of the toe board is coming up short on the right rocker . And it seams that the floor is coming up short to the toe board so I might have to do some pulling and stretching to get this thing to fit!!

Set the subframe in Sunday just to make sure the mounting points were in the correct locations. It was right on the money!! Now I can finish welding the firewall and floor .... You will here this alot from me on this build,''THIS AFTERMARKET SHEETMETAL SUXX!!!!!!'' Rick here's a bad picture of the frame rail.. See ya this weekend..
