It makes me want to put the loft in above my Garage.

Any inside pics of the layout/floorplan? Whats the footprint?

INTMD8 04-27-2014 06:48 PM

Nice stuff in here guys! I'm really liking that loft^^^ doubt I would ever leave.

Currently I'm working out of a 3 car and have absolutely run out of space.

Bought a new place with my girlfriend that has an attached 2 car, a 20x40 which I will use for my shop and also a 36x47 steel building for storage. Can't wait to set it up!

Sweet looking place! Did you ever get the engine finished in the 59??

INTMD8 04-27-2014 10:13 PM

Haha, thanks Rick :)

The 59 is good to go. I've put about 600 miles on it so far and I love it.

The garage area is 40 X 45 with 13 foot ceilings. The door (behind the trailer) leads to a pool table room and exercise room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and two baths with a living room, kitchen and breakfast area in between.

I walled it in, tore the old Flat Roof off, built my own trusses with a 12' center section & installed a Roll-Up Door. I put in a Rotary Revolution7 Lift so I can wrench & store. Big Snap-On box, Snap-On roll-around Cart with 4 Drawers, Fridge Full of Beer  . I also have a 40' long Carport behind the House where I can store my Open Trailer & another car.

T.C.

Well, I finally brought some pictures in

This was originally a Carport, but after the 4 Hurricanes of 2004, the roof leaked and the roofer could not fix it. So I decided to go for it.

Here are the before pictures

Just moved into mine. I've got 30x40 feet, central AC, a Modine gas heater, and a bathroom. I haven't really settled in yet. I'm waiting for movers to deliver my stuff from Hawaii. I also have a little Brown Recluse infestation to deal with.

Brad, you don't want to screw around with those Brown Recluse's - they can do some damage!

You should see the hole in one of my riding partners leg from one of those little spiders. Dear God are those sucker toxic !!!

skooli 05-13-2014 08:37 PM

Yeah, we got an exterminator on the way. If you notice the plywood on the wall behind the Stang, we moved it and found a giant nest. I've killed over 20 of those little monsters in the past 2 days. The house was empty for a year, so the spiders moved in. I'm terrified we're gonna find a nest in the house. We don't have anything like that in Hawaii so I'm pretty freaked out. This little guy is the last one I killed today.

They're quick too! Here's some good info if you haven't read up on them already: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_recluse_spider

Shmoov69 05-13-2014 11:10 PM

Brad, I've used some products from this place this last year and have had really good luck on getting rid of a bunch of spiders and keeping them away. As you are finding out, we got a few of those boogers around here, along with black widows too!!

Half of my pole barn is dedicated for a shop. Inside shop area is about 22X19.

I can get my 68 Torino in there, or the 63 Fairlane but not both. I also have a tractor in there I am restoring.

I have another tractor outside and the Fairlane under the overhang covered by a tarp. The wall by the Fairlane divides off the calves.

Looking in from 9X8 door

If you look close you can see a 1948 9N Ford

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...psywee5yyu.jpg

The left side is my shop, right used to be for two horses. It has two 10x12 stalls and hay storage. There are a couple of steers in there now.

My water front property garage during the 2010 Flood in Nashville!

The first 2 pics are of my shop behind the house.

The last picture is of my Datsun 510 race car getting a bath in one of the upper garages in the house. This car was in one of lower garages in the house and I moved the car to an upper garage so I would not have to leave the car outside and get wet. The car would have been totally submerged if I did not move it to the upper garages!

OOOPS!

Forgot about it and it got wet anyway!!!

GregWeld 10-29-2015 05:30 PM

Really sad to see that! Hope most everything was able to be saved!

All I had was 3 1/2 feet of water in the shop, 8 feet of water in the basement garages and 18 inches of water in the upper garage. No water or damage IN the house.

Just an inconvenience when compared to other folks with 8 feet of water in their house!

All cleaned up and ready to go 2 days later.

I have been using google sketch-up over the last few days to remodel my shop. I am going to take away the hay storage and add a 8X20 space for a work area.
