Some of the these big time shops who continually raise the bar like DSE, RS Performance and the Ring Brothers should take notice because Cris and his crew at JCG can build some insane pro-touring machines. Having met Cris one time in person and seeing his work first hand, I am very impressed at the level of creativity and attention to detail in all of his builds. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what you would do with something like a 67 Chevelle!!!

The owner has really let make some cool stuff for this 68.. but I have 3 other builds that are using some of the same components.. Only way sometimes that I can justify cost to design & machine..

For the last two weeks we have been trying to get all the sheetmetal work done on the rear of the car... We are almost their.. The spoiler was has been changed.. The flush mounted tail lights are complete.. with the rear bumper fitted to the car.. The exhaust tips are completed & giving me a full view of how things are going to look in the back.. The car will have a very wide look in the back !!

Cris@JCG 02-13-2011 10:24 AM

Thanks for the compliments on the work guys! Primo, my fabricator did a great job on the back end of this car.. It has been a big challenge for us because the owner has to see the progress on pictures & cannot capture the full effect off how it looks in person.. He finally booked a flight for early March & will be in to approve the work on the rear of the car.. also is coming to get fittedd for the car.. steering, shifter position, seat position, & dash layout..

I have been given the approval for a custom dash.. Having a hard time seeing it but I am sure when we dig in it will come to us..

Van B 02-13-2011 01:53 PM

Somehow I have been missing this thread since the first day or two. Read through the whole thing yesterday and have been slipping into depression since. I used to think I had a pretty bad a$$ car.

Definitely a cool ride.

tones2SS 02-13-2011 06:03 PM

Cris, I am sure the customer will approve. That looks great.
Keep us posted on that bad boy!

Custom Dash!

Just finished this up! Gives us a good idea how to make the dash & gives the owner his input on where he wants all his gages & controls to be placed.. he really wanted to do a layout as close as a 70's Trans Am..
