Thanks guys, now I just need some of Doug (Dfresh's) panel gap spray
|
Seriously one of the hottest rides on the site. Love it man...
Im a huge Fikse fan too, hoping to have a set someday. |
Hey just wanted to let you guys know I weighed my car tonight after the changes. Before I was 3450 lbs with the leafs, TTII's, stereo sub box in the back and 1/2 tank of gas.
Tonight with the new wheels and rear suspension, no sub box and full tank of fuel I am at 3395 lbs. |
I am guessing your and my car
Are about the same. Before I put my sub box and amp back in my car it weighted 55 lbs. It was hard for me to put it back in, but I do not figure that small amount of weight is going to effect much with me driving.

I have known this car for some time. It amazing you were able to step it up a notch with the car. Love the total look. From stance to color....

Not really an update of my car but cool none the less, this past weekend was a pretty large local car show, and the evening before alot of guys cruise their cars. So I got together some gearhead buddies of mine and went for a cruise. Sorry for the crappy pics, it was dark when I took these. But met up with some cool rides I thought I would share. One is a 66 or 67 Chevelle with a Roadster Shop chassis, Asanti wheels and a Magnacharged LS3 and his brother just built an LS9 powered 69 Camaro. It's sporting AME front and rear clips and Forgeline 19" fronts and 20"x12" rears. The other cars are friends of mine, the Viper is my buddies it's running headers and full exhaust and the Jetstream Blue '08 Z06 is another friend of mine it has minor mods and 360 Forged wheels (which look sick in person) and then another buddy Alvin whom I met on pro-touring.com has the super clean original ralley green 69 Z28. He has the orig motor/trans stored away and it's running a built 406 SBC and TKO 5-speed and billet ralleys. Super nice guy. We also cruised with a new 5th gen that's soon to be modded.
Anyways, enjoy the pics: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011001.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011002.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011003.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011004.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011009.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011010.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011011.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011012.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011013.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011014.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011015.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011016.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011017.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011018.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ths2011019.jpg |
Nice pic's! Is there any more of the blue 69 in the day light?
|
Hey Ryan,
Love the car man. The wheels and stance look killer man, you hit the nail on the head. Do you have any pictures of how the rear bar was modified? I have the same set up and I know that it wont be to my liking as it sits now. Might as well jump in now and do what needs to be done. |
Ry looks like a great night and those are some killer cars all in one spot. Thx for posting!

So I had met a local tuner a couple months back and finally got the car to him to tune. The car really needed a driveability tune especially at idle and I've been chasing this rattling noise under load for quite some time.
We swapped in some NGK TR6 plugs and he tuned it on his Mustang Dyno. Happy to say that the noise ended up being figured out. It was actually pinging. So the colder plugs and tune fixed that issue. As for the power tune, he did a baseline run and it made 407 rwhp and 378 rwtq and after his changes it now made 433 rwhp and 397 rwtq. Now if your comparing to my older dyno #'s which are actually higher those were done on a Dynojet which apparently read higher #'s than a Mustang Dyno. I checked online and it's somewhere in the 10% higher range. So If you compare the Mustang #'s with the 10% difference of a Dynojet she should be making 476 rwhp and 437 rwtq which is right in line with what my stock cubed LS1 should make with the mods it has. Funny thing is this was completed a few weeks ago and I've just been too busy to even drive the car so I have no indication if it drives better or if the power feels better. Anyways, here's the new dyno sheet: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ap/hokdyno.jpg |
Looks like a fun night!

Very nice Ryan. That should be a great add to your car. Keep us posted.
I've heard good things about those HKE engines. |
We'll finally got out of my cocoon and got out to the track this past weekend. Didn't think I would pass tech but my buddy sneaked it through for me. Ran it once in the 1/4, ran a 12.61 @ 114 not bad for first time out ever in this car. Also got together with a group of my local buddies and there nice rides. Everyone had a ton of fun and we are planning on doing it again soon. Let me know what you think.
