Hay Cris, l am realy digging the center of the firewall, any idea if you could make me one of these?? I am getting ready to cut out my firewall and fab up a new one and I would love to have something like this for it.

syborg tt 07-05-2011 11:44 AM

Edelbrock is no longer making headers so if you are looking for them you best buy them quickly

Cris@JCG 07-12-2011 11:52 AM

Hey Rick! Sorry for the late response.. Have super busy lately..

At this time I wish I had the time to make an extra pcs.. but we are buried with work on the fab dept.... That pcs was fun to make cause it was the first one that we did with my new bead roller & my body man being introduced to doing a custom firewall.. It is nice to have a person that I can have him fill in both depts. The fab shop & body shop..

Mario, I saw it up at the Heidts shop and it looks nice, but I think Mary said they had some issues with getting the CF stuff to fit.

The Camaro is pretty much finished and doing great. Everyone that's seen it has said wonderful things about the car. More upgrades are planned for the future ...

CF isn't just "plug and play." Fitting panels can be difficult but when all is done, it's worth it.

Thanks, Cris!

Mary Pozzi

Cris@JCG 07-24-2011 10:09 AM

Your welcome Mary! It was our pleasure to work on your car.. Can't wait to see the upgrades you have planned ..

Congratulations on your invite to the Optima Challenge!

Maybe more, he's been to busy to die, rumor has it he's 800 old.

jake72ss 08-04-2011 07:28 PM

frame

Would that happen to be another option for an aftermarket chevelle frame, that your working on?

Cris@JCG 08-05-2011 07:10 PM

It is a Chevelle chassis.. but only will be offered to my in house builds for the time being.. I got two of them in house right now & two more in the next couple of months arriving.. Only reason it drove me to do my own.. only way I can justify the design time to do my own chassis.. plus a few other projects that are not Chevelles is driving our own design...

Chassis is almost done.. Rear suspension is in design .. front suspension have not started yet..

jake72ss 08-05-2011 07:24 PM

chevelle frame

do you plan on using the standard c5/6 spindles and what do you plan on doing in the rear? Personally I think it would be pretty cool if some company would use the speed tech model for a chevelle chassis. I would like to see one built that uses the stock A arms, even if the geometry isnt the best it could be improved by adjusting pivot points etc. As for now if you are on a budget HPI is your only alternative to the expensive stuff.

Cris@JCG 08-09-2011 10:36 AM

Front suspension will be more than likely C6 based.. Rear suspension will be 3 link with pannard bar with option to do watts..

Last nite we modeled wheels .. Saturday I got schooled on gusset designs by my engineer.. center section will change some...

Great SolidWorks modeling! Where did you get the engine model from? Download for free or (I'm guessing) purchase?

69 C6 Camaro

Here is another project that we have been playing around with..

We cut the rocker panels out & extended them & made it the side rails of the chassis.. I have a floor design already in place but didn't like it.. changing it.. Taking a friends advise.. Simple but cool..

Car had a A/M chassis in it but did not like the fact that it did not give me room for the seats to set lower..

C10 4x4

I know this project is typical for this site but would like to share it with you guys to show some of the work we have been doing lately.. The owner has let us go a little on the custom side of the plumbing & exhaust..

I have always wanted to build one of these trucks since I lived in TX.. Owner wants us to build him a lowered one when done with this one..
