[QUOTE=Al Moreno;444085]By Far my favorite car of the show!!! It's neat to see the race car thyme in a world of Foosified cars. The attention to detail was noting short of amazing.

For a car for so many details, why the mix matched pedals? There must be a valid reason. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...e/IMG_2267.jpg Can anyone tell me what this is? http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...e/IMG_2295.jpg |

Some of you might remember this cars as it was originally built by Boyd several years ago in a burgundy color. Chip updated the look and freshened it up. Hard to take good pictures as it's a long car in a crowed area.

Your welcome guys! Glad your enjoying them. I can't believe I don't have a full body shot of this one. I'm sure I do, I just need to sort through all the pics. In the meantime, here's what i have. This car took 15 years for the builder/owner to build. An original Shelby and Great 8 Ridler contender this year. The amount of work is overwhelming. Need to see the build pictures to really appreciate everything thats gone into it. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/1-12.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/2-12.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/3-12.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/4-13.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/5-10.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/6-10.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/7-10.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...AL7319/8-7.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...AL7319/9-6.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/10-6.jpg Grill was made from a piece of billet! http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/11-3.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/12-2.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/13-1.jpg |

Beautiful car!! And just as cool was the fact that when I told the guys from Ekerts that I had been following the build on Lateral-G they proceeded to open up every door, hood, hatch, etc and talk through all the custom stuff they had done for the build! Very good group of guys!

I just love the Ring Brothers! If they don't make this into some sort of limited edition or at least sell kits, if they are missing the boat! I could see them selling a bunch! I had to look at other to see they didn't. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...AL7319/9-8.jpg Notice how they gave the carbon a two tone look by tinting the clear. http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/10-8.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/11-5.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/12-4.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/13-3.jpg http://i1231.photobucket.com/albums/...L7319/14-3.jpg |
