As cool as this pic is, I couldnt help but notice the growing stockpile of Kingsford in the background. I cant wait to see this thing cruising down the hwy with the trailer and BBQ pit in tow. I may actually make an event just so I can have the experience.

Have you ever thought of putting this front together in a kit form for guys to clip the fronts of there Chevelle. This one is great, I just wish I could stuff 275 on the front of my 64 Chevelle.

214Chevy 02-08-2013 11:13 AM

Scott, that front shot if the frame is just so mean looking. Great progress...keep going!!

I can build this clip as a weld in unit only.If you want a complete chassis,Rodger @Ironwork's build's those.I don't want to step on his toe's.Later on this spring I am going to build a jig to do the weld in clip's.They will run about $4500.00 shipped w/a splined sway bar, bent sway bar arm's,end link kit, hardware kit,Ride tech coil over's,dropped steering arm's,and Instruction's & temp holding jig.It will use std C-6 componet's,and DSE Or fox bodied rack.:thankyou:

JB64CHEVELLE 02-08-2013 12:55 PM

That's very tempting. I have the DSE speed kit 3 now but would love to get a good size tire up front. Keep us posted on the weld in kit and I will keep :G-Dub: on it!

dave96dcm 02-11-2013 10:25 AM

Forgive me if it was already mentioned but what will you be running for static caster and camber?

The camber will be set at 1degree neg.caster 5.5-6degrees.The upper A-arm bolt's are not tight in these photo's.

dave96dcm 02-11-2013 12:59 PM

 Sounds good. I like more camber than that on the track but it eats tires on the street. Good caster numbers.

Very cool indeed.

I am proud to have the 48th subframe. For anybody looking, the quality is amazing and Scott is very easy to deal with.
