Car looks stunning Marty. Tracy did a great job on the interior. I might have to swing by the shop this weekend to check it out.

ironworks 06-28-2007 01:11 PM

i think you meant "couldn't be happier". Not "could be happier". Believe me I'm not the one to point the grammer finger, but I'm sure you see my point.

The bottom of the car has been Rhino lined.

Marty,
Let us know how the rhino lining holds up...

well went and picked up the 57 from tracy's shop, completly happy . the car was clean ,done right , thought out . its not many times a interrior shop thinks about having to work on the car . i will recomend this shop to anyone !
i have used a shop in the past for 15 yrs over 20 cars each car normally 9 to 10 k each . i never have left his shop feeling like he wanted my work .

i will go back to tracy again , and have 3 cars sceduled in .

Thanks Kenny,i try and please the customer with good work, great design and not hurt there car.The 57 should be a good dual purpose car, show and drive.Your last upholstery guy should have thought about his customers instead of himself.Marty was easy to work with,no problems at all.Now i want to see some smoke rollin out of the rear wheels!!

Not to worry if sr. doesn't boil off the tires i sure will.

BRIAN 07-06-2007 08:26 PM

Material choices are perfect! Not the usual every car look. Like the finished off underdash. I hate seeing anything hang below dash. Headliner treatment is also nice. Fit and wrinkle free panels look amazing. Now get rid of that Lokar Shifter handle, just too average for that car. Gennie makes adapters.

Car looks great but that interior is well done.

Thank you very much for the compliments on the interior.

Send me a link to Gennie and any suggestion you have for the shifter please. Alway's looking for idea's.

BRIAN 07-11-2007 06:15 PM

I only brought it up because I have one in my Rambler and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Gennie has tons to choose from and there adapter is clean looking.

I'm getting a 57 HT in a few weeks to start so I am looking forward to seeing martys in person. (especially for the tire/wheel size and stance)
the nova sounds like it would be up my alley !

Jr 09-05-2007 08:28 AM

Travis,
In this thread, Marty said that he used rhino lining(post#200) and superliner(post #1). Which one is it?

You da man, travis

Thanks

rocketman 09-08-2007 01:40 PM

its not rhino for sure. The car was coated when it came to our shop if I had to guess it is superliner or speedliner.....its not rubbery like rhino and has real nice fine texture to it.
