It's possible that the retaining plate has been tweaked as well causing the slack. We need to be careful with to much preload since it does hold on the backing plate as well. Let's get on the same page after I talk to Wilwood and you tear into yours. We'll get this whipped.

Hey Todd,Just curious, did anybody ask frank about this issue? He sells alot of these set ups and it's the first time I've heard of it. I have the same set up as you. Hope to be test driving soon to see if I have the same issue.

LOL Me and Frank always talk about everything. He hasn't come across it yet. I have it figured out and will post updates soon.

No questioning the difference there. They look like their for different aplications (Trailer queen on the left and real car on the right). Nice catch on this I will have to mention this to Mike when he builds my Fab 9.

Hey Todd,

I was going through some old pics and came across a few from your car.

Here she is in all her glory right before she was blown apart and transformed into the BEAST she has now become. I figured everyone would get a kick out of these. That baby has come a long way!!!

ENJOY!!!

Thanks Nick! She didn't look to bad back then. The car actually drove really well after swapping out the plugs. Such a solid starter. Very few of them left.

Thats for sure!! I haven't come across one that original and solid since yours. I know they're out there, but most are garage queen #'s cars. A solid 307 car to build on........few and far between.
