Loved the "hero" that steered for a while and bailed out. |

We should have the roller wheels/tires tomorrow and then have the car assembled and ready to ship back to Cali by the end of the week. |
I was just about to say that I wasn't going to open this thread unless I saw a post from Phil, then I open this up because I see a post from the Roadster Shop, and still no pictures?
Rob, speaking of getting your (roller) wheels, where is that picture of you looking for wheels at SEMA. The villages are restless, and you better do something. |

It seems like a lot of work is done with the chassis done and the motor running (should I repeat that for DG) The motor running.:unibrow: The reality is I've been doing a lot of work, research and planning. As has been said do something every day on your car even if it is calling to buy a part and eventually it will get done. First a short list of big and $$ parts to buy. The front Wilwood 6 piston brakes. C&R radiator with integrated oil cooler and PS cooler. T56 Magnum close ratio. I already have the RST clutch, bellhousing and AL flywheel. Wheels... Finally making this decision will either kill me or be the biggest relief. Seats.. Another hard choice Custom headers. Some coin tied up in getting those parts. I'll probably drag it to AZ and have the headers built first. Next I'll probably mount the seats and steering column. Once I am happy with the seating position I'll take it to a guy I know to get a cage built.:unibrow: I have a few other small fab projects to do at the same time. This will include mounting of my Dry Sump tank. Drag it back home and start layout of the lines and final measurements to order the radiator Then I'll put all the brakes on it and run the lines brake, oil and fuel. Just writing this much down is making it seem like a long road. The list goes on. You know how much work there is in putting a car together.:willy:  |
As far as you've come, that list ain't so bad
Won't Greg come to you to build the headers? |
