Awesome updates, Marty! You have made tremendous progress and it's coming together! Like you said, the last 10% takes 90% of the time.

Not much longer!

Tell me about it!!! I've been waiting almost two weeks to do the break-in for the rebuild on my motor. So much going on with the kids out for Summer Break.

Andrew AKA Dr EFI said get back out there and get it going (( 07-06-24 ))

I was talking with Ron Wilson and we laughed about all the things that happened yesterday. It was just one of those days
where if it could go wrong it did. So today (the 6th) I went back out to the garage and decided to work on the cars issue's.

Grampa's Ashtray being used a small parts holder

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...d2a5f34-me.jpg

Step 1 Remove AC Lines

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...f0f90e6-me.jpg

Step 2 Identify the bad hose clamp

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...347956b-me.jpg

Step 3 Make sure you go up in the attic an bring down a couple towels to protect you Anvil Carbon Inner Fender.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...1d8ae99-me.jpg

Step 4 Get out the heat gun and cook the Gates Hose clamps again and pray it works.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...4611a0a-me.jpg

Pray a little more

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...e4f1cb4-me.jpg

Spend 30 Minutes looking for the Griot Fender Cover and find it under Remy...Ugh

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...d915d8a-me.jpg

Step 5 Check the Trans Fluid and find out it was a quart low, add fluid move on.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...bbd602f-me.jpg

Opps, I spilled a little which means it probably going to smoke a little later.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...d34f2bb-me.jpg

Step 6 Start car and run it through the gears and if it feels let's go around the block.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...fc05dd8-me.jpg

I finally figured out why it got stuck on the lift. Apparently the front end settle all the way down to 3" from the ground.
I originally set it at 4.5" and I am guessing all of the parts that went back on the car lowered it.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...48b4e71-me.jpg

Here we go.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...1b7a163-me.jpg

Yep, It started smoking while I was driving it.

I finally got a good look at the grille and I love it.

Thank you and yes it has.

We might get good weather on Friday. If we do I’m going to take the car to a local cruise night.

Me too and the weather here has sucked lately !!

Before I drive it I have to find the time to raise the front end up as it will most likely hit the inner fender hardware when I go up a curb.

Raising the Front End (( 07-15-24 ))

When I pulled out the Car last week I noticed that it settled a little to much. Since I had two hours to spare I decided
to run out to the garage to raise the front end at least an inch.

Thankfully, the car has Ride-Tech Coil-Overs

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...860c92d-me.jpg

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...c3babf4-me.jpg

Shocking I was able to adjust the coilovers with the tires on.

All better

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...6840855-me.jpg

Somehow I lost my 3/16 Allen wrench

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...da5369a-me.jpg

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...240d7e6-me.jpg

I also noticed the tie-rods are at a better angle right before the crazy storm hit us. Thankfully the tornado and straight lines winds
missed us by several miles. We did however loose a couple tree limbs.

I can't believe all the little parts that I have left. (( 07-21-24 ))

I finally went up in the attic and pulled down the rest of the parts that need to make it into the car.

It is a one off piece Kenny built that I am planning to take to VFN fiberglass over the winter so they can make it in fiberglass.

PCV Plumbing it's at least v4

So behind the scenes I have been struggling with the PCV plumbing. I am fighting a oil leak from the back of the motor.

For now I am going to vent the Oil Fill Cap and do version 5 or 6 of the plumbing.

http://garagescene.net/_data/i/uploa...fceb4aa-me.jpg

I walked into the needed size by using various drill bits.

The passenger door has this really cool auto unlock feature. Which of course needs to get fixed.

Since my memory sucks we took a bunch of pictures.
