Is that what you've been doing instead of working on your build the last week ?looking for that picture:rofl:

Glad to hear that the "big" girl is heading back home. I still have a way to go with mine....... Have to have a day job just to keep the projects moving forward. We aren't the privileged ones.

It seems like a lot of work is done with the chassis done and the motor running (should I repeat that for DG) The motor running.:unibrow:

The reality is I've been doing a lot of work, research and planning. As has been said do something every day on your car even if it is calling to buy a part and eventually it will get done.

First a short list of big and $$ parts to buy.

The front Wilwood 6 piston brakes.
C&R radiator with integrated oil cooler and PS cooler.
T56 Magnum close ratio. I already have the RST clutch, bellhousing and AL flywheel.
Wheels... Finally making this decision will either kill me or be the biggest relief.
Seats.. Another hard choice
Custom headers.

Some coin tied up in getting those parts.

I'll probably drag it to AZ and have the headers built first.

Next I'll probably mount the seats and steering column. Once I am happy with the seating position I'll take it to a guy I know to get a cage built.:unibrow: I have a few other small fab projects to do at the same time. This will include mounting of my Dry Sump tank.

Drag it back home and start layout of the lines and final measurements to order the radiator

Then I'll put all the brakes on it and run the lines brake, oil and fuel.

Just writing this much down is making it seem like a long road. The list goes on. You know how much work there is in putting a car together.:willy:

Congrats on the progress. You're right, sometimes the research can take more time than anything. That list doesn't seem too long, but yah, those are some pricey items. I've been churning through my own list so I know what it's like. I just read through your entire build thread again. This thread is like a dedication to Torinos.

So true. I'm finally nearing the end of the first list I made, a year ago

:faint: Ah mission accomplished:rofl: It is. Torinos and Tunnelport headed sideoilers. They both played a big part in Fords successful motorsports endeavors of the late sixties.:unibrow:

Come to think of it. This site is like a tribute to 69 Camaros.:P

Is that a nice way of saying "clone"?

Most on here just wish they had the B A L L S to build something other than a '69 Camaro. But then again -- at some point they may actually want to sell what they built. You have no chance of doing that. :woot:
