Sorry you don't have more pictures of the build process, D. I always enjoy seeing those pictures.

Trey, I am picking and responding to your post in Dave's thread. This hasn't been an intentional stall on my part, rather I needed to get my understanding clear as well. The community here is important to me also, but these types of things aren't always easy to explain--and the folks involved have their own interpetations. I sometimes wrestle with what's appropriate to share in situations like this since I ascribe to the notion of "Do unto others as you want done unto you". I want to take the high road of course, and in my case I will just say that Brett got to busy to finish the car up from the work that was done a year ago. I've decided to move on since there is no clear date in the future to finsh up the car. His work was outstanding as the remaining pictures showed, he just has to many other obligations at this time. I haven't heard back from him on why the pics had to come down, but technically, they were his property. I am bummed they are gone, but that is his choice.

I am trying to figure out next steps, and have a couple shops in mind, and wish I wan't in this situation since I came to appreciate and count on Brett and his work, but it is what it is for me at this point.

I will post up pics as soon as I get it to where it's going (most likely in January).

Merry Christmas to all of my bro's here.

Blessings--

Doug

Merry Christmas!

Thank you, Doug. That's a perfectly appropriate response in my opinion. I'm glad to hear this hasn't been a nightmare scenario and that you were pleased with Brett's work. Best of luck finding another shop that will take care of your car.

I'll keep the updates going once I get it into a shop. This time, I'll post the pics. :D

Nothing but class my friend. One thing I've learned is to make positive assumptions and realize that many times there are underlying circumstances. It's not personal unless we make it that way. This takes emotional reps and discipline. Merry Christmas to you and the family.

Way to go Doug. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Hey Doug, I really like your's and Dave's response's to the "wondering public". It is so cool seeing the pics and how some fabbers decide to do things and then when it just goes "black", its kind of a bummer.

But I for one, really appreciate the class shown here. All of us know "sheet happens" and perspective is usually reported from one side only (aka typicaly media), But we all know there are three sides to every story, "yours, mine, and the truth"

Back to our regular schedule programming (and now the wise words from the prophet Larry the cg, :gitrdun:
