Just wait till THEY think WE can't have our cars. It happened to personal water craft, it happened to custom bikes, THEY tried to put catalytic converters in boat engine bays until THEY found out it'll start a fire (after a law was passed and the coast guard publicly stated they wouldn't, couldn't afford to enforce).

Time to join SEMA-SAN and any other association the will stand up for my group's rights.

Sorry for the rant, I'm jet lagged and grumpy.

I hear ya Ron!! You remember years ago here in Ca they wanted catalytic converters on fast food places lolol

If you don't deserve to own a gun then you shouldn't and they should take it from you..BUT IMOHO this opens a door for them to say "hey Jer you got 3 speeding tickets, you're not responsable enough to own a gun" and take them. Not to mention what other doors this opens

And for the record I would never ever speed on city streets

If you don't have the right to own a gun then you can't buy one legally. They need to put teeth behind the laws in place that punish people for attempting to do so.

I agree and your example is 100% spot on. It sounds good, but liberals love change and that means the rules will constantly change (if they get their way). One day you are a perfect citizen who is allowed to own a gun under their rules, the next day your not.

Only recently have I started to understand why groups like the NRA say "F YOU, not one change".

I feel ya, but the article is somewhat misleading. There is no new gun confiscation legislation. The only thing SB140 does is re-assign 24 million dollars to the Department of Justice to fund a program which has already been in existence for 6 years. It is called the Armed Prohibited Persons System or APPS. It is a program not a law and it is meant to go after those persons who at one point were legally registered firearms owners who failed to turn over their firearms after they became ineligible to own those firearms.

I was born and raised and would not live anywhere else. I guess if I love it I will put up with the legalities, trust me, most CA laws will eventually be nation wide anyways. And don't give me that earthquakes garbage. If your on the Earth your gonna get it. We are built for it and anything over 6.0 is a rare occurance. I don't even get out of bed for them 4.0 quakes.

The constant high pressure lingering is phenomenal.

I will take that bet sir. And as long as California fiscal situation continues to get worse their laws won't spread as far and wide as they think.
