I haven't exactly been sending photos to magazines begging. Steve said he'll shoot it and I told him there was no hurry. The car isn't going anywhere. The car only gets better and better.

Thanks.... I spent the better part of yesterday afternoon trying out Zaino. It's labor intensive but the car really turned out nice. It's looking just as shiny or shinier than ever. I also had some clear bra installed behind both wheels up to the body line for protection with the R888's. Went out this morning for breakfast and a run around the lake. I haven't had a chance to shoot any decent photos since the wheel change. I need to add a couple loops to my new venting system as you can see. It doesn't seem to leak while running since a vaccum is being pulled on the tank as fuel is consumed. I knocked down 9 miles per gallon city/highway. You can also see the new gbar coilover mount setup. I ended up adding a third bolt for safety and looks.

Here are my two ladies.

Looking great Todd! Is everything going well with the new brake swap? I know that was a while ago but I had not heard anything on it.

Yeah, that's bad ass!! I love that you keep tinkering and making it better and better!!

Wow :wow: the thing is glowing more than ever!!

I know Aj is a big fan of Zanio and has used it. What are your thoughts? Is it worth the effort, how many hours did it take you to do the entire car. Also how is that clear bra stuff holding with those rock throwing monsters you have on the back end of that power house?

Now that the weather has cooled a tad I think I need to twist your arm and get you to take me for a ride. :unibrow:

The brakes still have a little knockback, but it's managable. It's barely noticable on the street.

The Zaino is really a pain in the ass. I spent about 4-5 hours on the car. The polish that I first used called the z5 is supposed to fill in minor imperfections and light scratches. After the first application, the shine was very noticable. I then reapplied it and finished with the z2. I really can't say I noticed any extra shine after the final two applications. The z2 is supposed to be the last step and it has sunblock. The z2 was also very hard to get off compared to the z5. We'll definitely have to get out for a ride. I have a race coming up on August 23rd in Primm.

The car really isn't finished. I still need to add the AC and something for the Ipod. I'll also be adding an accumulator, oil cooler, and possibly a 2 pass radiator soon. I think the tweaking part of the build is my favorite. At the end of the day, it's a custom build and it takes miles to make them reliable enough for the street, let alone the track.
