I will try and bring this post back on topic.

We were brought this big Lincoln from LA. It laid out at the height shown in the first 2 pics with some garbage rear suspension in it. It was a 2 link that had tubing welding both links together. That should work plus when it laid out the rocker was still 6" off the ground.

After building a proper 4 link with proper air bag mounts and a cool invention called a panhard bar. It now lays out at the height of the bottom picture. And should drive way better then before.

Lower and better driveability. Yes I will take some.

If it's gonna be a 4-door, it's got to be a suicide door Lincoln. I love those cars. It would be the only 4-door I would drive. Very cool Roger!!

I don't randomly choose just anyone to "partake" in the Weld lifestyle. When I say we're leaving at 4:30AM it doesn't mean 4:31... Pierre is at the lobby of the hotel at 4:15. When you ask - what do you want to eat... ANYTHING is a good answer.... because you don't just wheel these rigs into town and if you want to make some time - you may be eating while moving. He's a new convert to In N Out... But they're too messy to eat in cab so we take a few minutes and gulp 'em down in store. He's learned to pee when we're stopped for fuel or food.... not ask for a separate stop when we just left a perfectly good spot. "Never pass up a perfectly good chance to pee" is an old guys best learned lesson. T-shirts and blue jeans are considered being dressed up. You WILL get dirty during the day. A Weld road trip can begin on a moments notice - and "when will we be there or where are we going, and when will we be home" are not topics of discussion. We'll get there when we get there and we may decide to alter course or alter plans! Something may come up of interest that we didn't anticipate... Who knows! Does being "home" Tuesday at 2 really matter? NO!

On this trip - we:

Delivered a car
NHRA Museum
GNRS
Bobby Walden's shop
So Cal Speed shop
Barry Whites Speed Shop
Art Chrisman's shop
John Forces "store" = the museum and shop weren't open
A McLaren store in Newport Beach
Ironworks Speed and Kustom
Bought a car
Roy Brizios Street Rods
Dan's Custom Upholstery to see my Brother in Laws Camaro upholstery

Anyone see anything wrong with that week??

I wonder what it costs to join the 'inner circle'?...is there a special hand shake? Who buys lunch, which time?
Do you have to bring your own music or is it a music by driver only trip.
I get the jeans thing but what about shorts?

I allow passengers to pick up breakfast and lunch sometimes... Dinners are on me. Music is by mutual consent.... Pierre and I both like 60's rock and roll -- and modern country -- so we had music going non-stop. Shorts are fine -- actually anything is fine as long as it's not button down -- or yuppie -- and can be used as a rag if needed.:bitchslap:

You only need a secret handshake if you want to hang out with Charley.

Here is a sneak peak of the start of our valve cover product line. After searching the universe looking for a quality well thought out valve cover I decided to just go about giving a cover some design flare that was made the best it could be. I'm working on getting the proper length 12 point ARP fasteners and getting the final pricing for these caps that will be available in 4 different styles. I'm looking at a retail price of 850.00 for the set.
