WTH Marty ? You score the Lottery lately or something.... bad ass TT mini-truckster, the 2nd gen, outrageous garage makeover.... - or should I forward this to ATF for a little 'discussion' with ya ??

Only thing I might suggest is wiring conduit in the walls for all the entertainment wiring/interface. You doing Sat recvr, DVR, audio, IR ports, cable, cat-5 remotes, PC interface, antenna, etc ?? I'd figure all that out and make sure you have enough power outlets, interface cable conduits, etc. so that you don't need to pull any cabinets to wire it all up.

I did all that when I wired my garage and shop. They are zones of a multi-zone system interfaced to the main A/V systems in the house via IR Cat-5 remotes. The only control device I have in the garage is the TV tuner and a Sat receiver.

LOVE that Plasma man !!! (and jealous too...)

Actually, I've sold all of my other projects so i could finish Syborg and I didn't plan to build another car till after the mini-truck was completed. But then i just couldn't pass on the Camaro. My best friend growing up had one so it brings back High School Memories so i had to have it.

The garage on ther other hand has been something that i've been wanting to do for so long and I figured since the Trucks at Kenny's I had to do it. I had all of the tool boxes at my warehouse for the last 6 months and I have about a grand left to spend on racks and misc stuff then it should be complete less the tv.

I picked ups some cable from www.windycitywire.com - it's some really cool stuff. Two Cable, Two RG6, Two Speaker all wrapped up in one wire. I will be putting in a 5 chanel stereo in the garage with some old Bose Speakers that i've had since the early 90's. Should sound good for a garage.

It was Johns idea - he said every nice garage needed one.

Well the girls and I hit the garage again this weekend. I had to fix the heater before we could get to work. It was nice working in 65 degree garage vs the 30 degree's it was outside.

here is where we started.

needed to take down the old tool boxe's so I could set up the new cabinets

All of the upper Cabinets layed out on the floor.

Upper Cabinets Mounted - left space for the flat screen in the center.

Doors are mounted - need to do some adjusting. It was late and I was tired.

Okay back to working on the Garage.

I finally started building the counter top out of 3/4" Cabinet plywood. The
work surface is 12 feet by 21" deep. It's nice to have a counter top again.

here is how it looks

The next step is to lay 1/4" aluminum plate on top of the counter.
