Those parts look great - I bet you could sell a ton of them. I had to part out a pretty nice '65 to get those AC vent ball parts. And adapting them to the Vintage Air ducts was a hassle. Looks like you found a nice solution.

OK update on the car.

Today, I went ahead and talked with Darrell Hollenbeck of vintage color studio
about paint on the car. Well it is looking like august we will be going to paint with the car and turn around should be start of September.
If any of you are wondering who Darrell is, He paints cars for Roy Brizios roadster shop in south San Francisco and Im looking forward to the candy apple red color.

We have been busy on the car and hard at work to make sure the photos I will post soon, give you a great Idea of whats going on.

The Wheels wells look great, No more bondo bucket hack jobs back there.
The firewall well its still in progress and will be finished soon.

Give it a week and you will soon see photos.
I know I have been pretty bad about posting updates, but I'm worrying about making SEMA 2008.

I am putting the car on a rotissere at 5 am this morning and taking the car to media blast and will get it back the same day.
The painter will have the car done in 3 weeks or less, He has cleared his entire month for this car.

firewall: done
hardtop wheel wells in a convertible: Done
trunk floor: done
exhaust: Done
mounting march stuff: done
radiator brackets and condenser: done
one off E/T wheels: done
windshield channel: done
vintage air brackets: done
gas tank mounted: done
narrowing bumpers and removing front lisense plate recess:done
replacing front floor:done
mounting MSD box under dash and making a plate for it:done
Making recessed speaker buckets for doors:done
filling windshield wiper holes in cowl: done
making the column fit:done
wilwood pedals:done
Replacing drivers side quarter panel:done


i cant stop with the list
