Looking good man....this is a tough stage. I wouldn't push to hard because the details are very important. It's at that stage. The fuel pump setup has me a little worried. The dash looks killer. The paint looks like Tony's rendering. I like it man.

Thanks Todd. Yeah it's just hard because it took forever to even get TO the finish stage.

Yeah, what exactly are your worries on the fuel pump setup? The plan is to put a heat shield flap over it to protect it.

Yeah, Tony and I actually talked paint colors. I think his will be a little lighter than mine in real life based on the Ferrari I saw in that color. We might be sorta like twins a little bit.

It's straight uphill to the pump from the sump. Definitely not ideal. It may work ok for a while but I bet you end up redesigning it sooner that you like. I spent more hours than I would like to admit plumbing fuel systems in my beast. Aeromotive would tell you the same thing. External pump is just not ideal to be honest on these cars.

Well, I hear ya, and it is less than ideal. But this motor was in a nearly identical car before mine with same A1000 pump (mounted in same location) and a stock tank (no baffling, no sump) and the only issue they had was when fuel got to below 1/2 or 1/4 tank fuel. So I am hoping the baffling and sump will solve that.

But yes you may be right. This thing could end up getting redone. :(

Yep, the colors are close, mine is a litttle lighter....they both will look killer!!

Is he going to pull the interior to paint the dash? And when does he plan on doing that...soon I hope! Also, how's the angle of the gauges when sitting in the seat? They look to be pointig down a bit? Not picking it appart...just trying to help you get what you pay for!

The bad news is these cars don't get the best gas mileage. I haven't passed a gas station yet with mine.
