Well this is what I did today, plus broke the car down and wet sanded with 800 to prep for 4 more coats of clear. Then the star treatment begins on the finish. I tinted the rear window also.

I imagine there will be a collective sigh of relief as I have decided this car needs nothing in the way of graphics or stripes....except for this on the hood......

I am cramming to get the car to appear finished for this labor day weekend. On Friday, directly across from my shop at the Kendallville, IN airport they are racing Duesenbergs on the runway. Speed channel and ESPN will be there along with thousands of spectators, I need to get another project, maybe this will help me out...we will see how far I get.
