Did you make the Guildstrand mod to the stock frame?

Yes, that's the stock subframe. I did not need to trim away the control arm mount and original holes because I'm using tubular arms. That way I can always go back if I need to.

I got some more work done on the firewall and started motor dis assembly. I also fit the mega brace lifter valley brace on my 400. I'll be dropping the block off at the machinist this week.

Been awhile since an update, so here you go. My block is still at the machine shop, so I'm sort of on a hold for a little while. I painted the firewall and dash in preparation for the motor. I picked up a set of Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Hayes flywheel and a Mcleod clutch.

Nice work! Nice blue color, too. I always enjoy seeing updates to this car, it's inspiration to keep working on mine

Where did you get the heater block off piece? BTW the car is looking great.

Minor update: I'm still waiting on the machine shop; I stopped by yesterday and they are working on it, so it should not be too long now.
