Funny guys...... The Carbon brakes work great when cold but as they heat up they get absolutely grippy. In the pics at the Gingerman event you can see white smoke coming off the front tires in one of the pics. Mark was smart enough to let off the brakes. At the same point on the track I hit the brakes to make the right hand turn in my warm up lap and locked them up. Stupid guy that I am I kept my foot on the brakes and slid all the way into the grass. It is hard to let your foot off the brakes at 100 mph when you need to make a hard right turn.

We noticed, but at this point our 'Steilow= trick 1st gen Camaro' tolerance threshold has gotten real high ...

Sorry Charley! I just couldn't help myself... It's the Starbucks!

While I was doing the Spring Mountain Motorsports track - we repeatedly asked if we couldn't do laps WITHOUT the Corvettes traction control on.. the PROS told us - you won't be able to stay on the track without it... YEAH RIGHT we replied - "WE" know how to drive these buggers...

They relented and let us run sans TC -- and timed us (of course) and we were all WAY slower... no spins... but the cars (ZO6's) became a handful... tails hanging out and wallowing etc. and while it was fun - it became a lot of work! A couple of laps and we all then had to beg to be allowed to use the TC again. LOL

I'm sorry to do this, but I have to bring up the second gens again. I would love to see you do your magick on one of those. But then again I am a little biased.:D

Mark --

You don't need to be told - as usual - it's way over the top kool!

Love the lines! Nothing prettier than some nice stainless steel lines that are routed properly!
