I cut the center out of the TCI crossmember, it was nice .156" wall DOM. I got all my datum points laid out and measured yesterday. Since the rear end is currently in the location I want it (correct ride height and centered) I didn't want to change that. Next step is start cutting aluminum for the watts link cradle and bellcrank. This should start coming together quickly now. |
I got my watts links rod ends. Aurora blue anodized aluminum. They look awesome and will worke well with the AFCO blue anodized coilovers. All four under 1 lb
http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03359.jpg http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03360.jpg I am thinking I may switch all rod ends and link to aluminum. And keep the stronger chromoly ones for drag racing. |
I got the three link in and the wheels on. I need to massage the inner fender to get more clearance. But I nailed the back space and max width!
All pics are at droop maybe 1.5" to 2" lower than previous ride height. Im still thinking about changing the chassis third link mount. http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03446.jpg http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03447.jpg http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03448.jpg http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03449.jpg http://media.motortopia.com/files/21...l_DSC03450.jpg |
