Hmm...Me thinks you encountered some spritzers.

Spritzers are the guys at car shows who can't stop spraying/wiping/dusting their cars the whole damn day. They worry about a bit of dirt or a rock chip, and goofy stuff (like panel gaps) are actually important to them. They know how to drive a buffer, but not a timing light...

Fux those guys...

Ive found that the ones that critisize the most are driving in, in the biggest peices of **** in the lot.

First of all..
Awesome Camaro very nice stance. I have seen the car at some local events and its a very nice build.
second..
I have worked in Irvine for awhile and the encountered that same attitude at cars and coffee and in the area at some events. I try not to let it bug me but its a bummer none the less..
Still great car!

That's funny! I've always said to my buddies - to me there are two kinds of car guys -- GREASERS and WAXERS... Personally - I'm a greaser... although I do own a California duster.... and that's as clean as they're going to get. :woot:

Wow---just went through your site---impressive stuff bro----I love the "Case Studies" section----I recognize many of those----you are obviously very gifted at your craft---thanks for the compliments on the car.

I'm not much of a car show person but one thing I used to do was to stand by my car, pretending to be just another person looking at it, and then listen to what the other people looking at it would say, it was comical. If you have a car in a show, you have to do this.

The funny ones are the ones who will spend several minutes looking the car over, until they find some kind of flaw (real or perceived) as if there was a $500 reward for finding one....then point it out to their buddy, then they are satisfied with themselves and immediately they leave...hilarious.

When I look at cars, it's like looking at women. I notice the great aspects of the vehicle, be it the roofline, stance or a cool factory dash in an old car. My opinion of the critics is they don't truly love automobiles. Same with critics of women, they aren't capable of truly loving women.

Good news---Roger from Ironworks has contracted with Meguiers to develop a product that will help people such as myself----"Panel Gap Spray"---it is guarateed to close the most offesive gaps----LOL. Thanks Roger for that one.

We just got back from Pleasanton----man, do I wish I had never made this post---every person who frequents this site and attended the show approached me with the following comment---"So is this the crappy gapped car"? LOL---was a really good time---met a bunch of great folks ---

Doug - Mequiars said it might take a few bottles to get that camaro of your in tip top shape. But they do offer quality discounts if you order meor ethen one bottle..... :D

It was nice to hang out a chat for alittle while on Saturday. Talk to ya soon.

I thought about it some more. I must add to my original thought.

Checking panel gap is allowed if there's a "For Sale" sign on your car.

Otherwise, they're just being gay.
