Supposed to get the body back today. Called me yesterday and said it looks very good so we'll see.

I'm going to spray a test panel with the two-stage black and then a stripe of flattened clear and see how I like it. That's my first choice.

what brand of paint are you using?? you should be very satisfied with the semi gloss clear, let us know, maybe some pics later??

I have Sikkens, but the car is painted in Dupont.

great paint, another top quality european paint, makes the dupont clear feel like water compared.
is that what you have the semi goss clear in?? and also what you use on your own stuff??
dupont is ok, but its nothing compared to sikkens/standox/spies

I have always used PPG; it's what I learned on so it's what I stick with. The closest paint supplier to me though doesn't carry it.

Whatever Dupont clear the guy is using is awesome. I actually blocked the car with 400 grit aggressively and didn't go through a single spot. He had 5 coats at that time.

isn't it unreal how the clear goes on , on top of block sanded clear!!! man does it lay flat, sounds great
