Huge milestone for me. Bodywork is done, and car is sealed. This took me a while. I'll be putting the shell on the chassis, which has been done for a while now, and build the entire car. Check gaps, make sure harness works, in case I need to drill and grommet something, etc. I just want to make sure everything is right before we paint. So basically build car, blow it apart, paint, and rebuild car.
The good news is I've already mocked the car up entirely once, body wise, so my gaps are decent. Believe it or not, I'm on the downhill slide. Bodywork absolutely whipped me. I'm too picky. |

Incredible progress and ideas on this rad homebuilt Chevelle!
What fuel tank are you going to run? I missed that. I'm going to incorporate a bunch of your ideas into my project car also. |

Thanks man. My fuel system plans are currently a Tanks, Inc pump in my stock tank, with custom baffling. It will be next summer before its done, so plans could easily change before then. I don't like the aftermarket tanks. They hang too low for me. I'm gonna go stock tank either with pump in, or exterior in line. |
Scott the body work looks flawless. Any decisions on a color yet?
