This should make tucking the battery in the stock location a little easier and look great as well. I will run the parts over to Tim at GAP when they arrive.

I just ordered the exact same mount from Billy, great choice. I've ordered a few things from him and he's great to deal with. Great project! Good luck with the final details.

Went to the GAP Racing shop on Monday to drop off some parts (battery, battery mount & battery cables). Got to see the Camaro in person. Pictures below to show update on getting the under side coated. DSE subframe connectors are now installed. Camaro should move into clean room for assembly on August 4th.

More updates from GAP Racing . . . Rear end has been stripped down and is ready for paint. Underside coating is complete. Ride Tech 4-Link bars installed with new hardware. Seeing good progress and hope Stampede is off to the Recovery Room this weekend so my camaro can slide into the clean room.

Trunk interior has been recoated. Looking much cleaner. Before and after pics below. (I think you can figure out which is which.) Also first time I have seen the Fesler billet trunk hinges installed.

Pics of the tail panel with the Fesler tail lights and Precision Coachworks gas filler installed. I like the sinister look if you couldn't tell.
