Does the Camaro in question still have a usable gas tank? If so, problem solved. Bring a hose that reaches the truck filler from the Camaro tank and it should siphon in as needed since it's nice and high. You may need to get a mouth full to get it started and a little duct tape to keep it in place but no biggie. When you stop for fuel, just fill up both tanks. :idea:

Besides a diesel... what are you all towing with that gets such good MPG?? I never got better then 6-8 towing anywhere

I know where you shop is and how far it is from my house, but I have no idea how far it is from I-77/ I-40 junction at Statesville.

I think it's all downhill on the way back so they are good to throw it in N and coast a ways.

Payton, my guess would be about 80-90 miles. I can make it to DSE in 1.5-1.75 hours from Jet Hot depending on how many times the tires touch the road. Oh yeah there's some small brewery just east of the 40/85 split but I can't remember the name.

Word of advice don't fill up in CT our gas tax is out of control. Try to fill up in MA even if you don't really need it.
