I think we've done 5 cross-USA trips in this rig over the years... you definitely learn how to fix 'em on the road. It's pretty well sorted out at this point... maybe it's time to tear it apart and do it differently!

I drive the Beach Cruiser to all the local autoX's 30-40 miles. Would drive it farther, but right now It's only on Hoosier A6's but I'm working on getting a set of Rivals for my spare wheels. It's kinda loud, but it rides good. Since every track event I've taken it to I've broken it, not ready to drive and race yet, but I'm pretty hard on it at the track trying to break it to find the weak links in it. It's headed to VIR this weekend, but on a trailer.

I voted 5 year plan. My hot rod is first priority but i should get that running by next summer. Then I will go the PT route |
Getting ready to do the power tour.. the drive from Wisconsin to maryland is going to be 14 1/2 hours according to mapquest..
The sad part for me, I think the camaro (with a 6 speed) gets the best gas mileage out of all the cars and truck I own.:lostmarbles: |
