CURVES 07-13-2014 09:02 AM

The good news is....it's only tacked in.

Maybe they saw that one coming.

I have the same issue with a torque arm crossmember, so I feel your pain!

Thanks for the tip Greg, I knew it was gonna be tough to remove like it was. I think I'll make it removeable. Better to catch it now than when it's done.

Good Eugene -- 'cause I was really a little steamed when I discovered it on the '55 !! And of course by then I had the tranny part way out... and - well you know where that goes. LOL

Some more good news. The LSX454 came in today. Looks really great. Next step is to build up some engine mounts for it and get it fitted properly into the chassis.

Also fitted it with the ATS road racing oil pan. Looks very sharp.

I'd say good eye, I took the picture and still don't see what you're talking about, haha. 3rd bolt back from where, in which picture?

It was planned to be a dry sump with the ls7 but we decided to go wet sump on this engine.

Been busy working and have some more updates to share with you guys. Got more work done on the engine mounts and frame.

We'll get some custom Kooks headers on it in a few weeks.
