We try to paint as many of the parts and pieces before the car is painted and ready for assembly so that once its ready, There isn't any hold ups waiting for parts to be painted.

We also pulled the intake and valve covers off and painted them an satin grey that we will be using throughout the car.

I think this is my favorite build I've seen in a while - really really like how this car is turning out.

They are using U-pol Raptor. Paul sprayed my 68 Camaro with Raptor a few years ago. IMO Raptor has a nicer finished look than other bed liners I've seen. I'm not sure if they are doing any type of custom mix or if it's straight out of the can though.

I agree it goes on flatter and has a slight gloss to it.
